Things To Consider When Buying Custom Car Air Fresheners

Custom car air fresheners provide a fantastic way of advertising a business or service to drivers and passengers, as well as to passers by when the vehicle is parked up in a public car park or in the street. However, there is still plenty to consider before you take the plunge, so have a look at our list of things to think about when choosing a design and sourcing a company to make them for you:

1 - Brand identity
Passers by may not stop to inspect the writing on a promotional car air freshener in detail, but they will notice the colours and the logo, so make sure your branded car air fresheners are easily recognisable as your own. Your custom car air fresheners should match your company branding and image so that they are instantly and easily recognisable.

2 - Less is more
Don’t overcrowd the space with lots of information about your company. Personalised car air fresheners can only be so big, and if you want to include your company name, strapline, phone number, website and email address you will soon find the space is looking too busy and the image is spoiled. Often just a logo and a website address is enough.

3 - Ensure you offer a breath of fresh air
Nobody is going to use your promotional car air fresheners if they smell like something the cat dragged in. Ask the company you have chosen to send a sample of a ready-made air freshener so that you can have a pre-sale sniff.

4 - Bulk discounts
Have a good think about when and where you will use your custom air fresheners -  this will give you a realistic idea of how many you are going to need. Will they be given away with every purchase, or will you be using them to promote your company at events or trade fairs? How many customers do you serve in a month and how many of these would qualify for free custom air fresheners? Once you have worked out your figures, you should know roughly how many you expect to get through in a month. Try to order for at least a 3-month supply, as with most suppliers the more you order the cheaper they get. Companies may also offer a discount for reprinting, as they will already have done the print-setting for your first run, so there will be less work to do on a reprint.

5 - Two heads are better than one
Whatever you do, don’t get the artwork on your custom car air fresheners signed off until you have shown it to at least one other person. Perhaps come up with your top three favorite designs and then do a bit of market research, either with your customers or colleagues, in order to see which design they like best. Do get a fresh pair of eyes to check and double check the spelling and any contact details on the custom fresheners, as ordering 10,000 custom car air fresheners with the wrong phone number on would be rather embarrassing!
